During the 12 weeks, she led a discussion session on the topics, wrote an op-ed on climate change solutions for her community, created lesson plans for 6th grade classrooms, and created materials to educate those who are not aware of climate change and the impacts. Jessica gained climate literacy skills and a sense of leadership through this field experience while acquiring new skills for networking.
