Dr. Amanda Gosman, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in cleft lip and palate surgery, pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery, microsurgical facial reanimation, gender-affirming surgery and aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Gosman is the director of Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at UCSD Health and Rady Children's Hospital. She is also director of the Fresh Start Clinic for Craniofacial Anomalies at Rady Children's Hospital, where she performs reconstructive surgeries for children at no cost. At the UCSD School of Medicine, Dr. Gosman is professor and chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery, where she directs the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and the Craniofacial Fellowship Program.

Her research focuses on craniofacial surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, plastic surgery outcomes, quality of life and international health.
